Sneer – Self-titled LP
A debut release from this new hardcore group from Plymouth (ex members of plenty of previous/recent local bands), with plenty of overblown distortion, thumping-beat speed, and chain swinging punk aggression. “An intense, chorus soaked slam ride, comparable to USHC bands Creem, Exit Order or Glue” hits it pretty squarely on the nose, (as too would Spy). Word on the street, this is a band that you need to catch live… as opposed to catching them alive… because that would imply that you’re some kind of a hunter. And hunting isn’t good. Be a forager, not hunter. Forage for Sneer. But spare their lives.
