Skullcrack – “Addicted To The Underground” LP
Sophomore full-length release from Orange County’s hardcore punk/crossover thrash-heads. An endless barrage of chunky riffs and nimble shredding courtesy of Eddie Oropeza (who you might know from his work in ACxDC and Fireburn over the years). This follows-on from two self-released EPs on their own imprint, Adios Motherfucker Records, plus an LP and a 12″ EP (2021’s Bring Back The Guillotine E.P.) both released on Indecision. A high octane mix of Power Trip, Black Breath, Nerve Agents, Annihilation Time, Iron Reagan and Magrudergrind by a band of thrashers who have previously slipped a little under the popularity radar (at least on this side of the Atlantic), but if you dig those aforementioned bands you will absolutely dig Skullcrack. (And I wonder to myself if these guys are familiar with The Fearless Iranians From Hell…?)
