Description
Reek Minds “Eternal Rot” 7″
This punk band from Portland, Oregon are doing the rounds, jumping from one cool label to another:- there was the Rabid 7″on 11PM Records, followed by the Malignant Existence album on Iron Lung. And now here we are on the ever-reliable Black Water label for a tasty new six track EP that continues right where they left off. Depraved hardcore that grabs you by the throat with a maniacal energy. And tighter than ever – not just the grip on your throat, but the musical tightness, as well. Members of Reek Minds also turn up in Alienator – and there are similarities, but where Alienator lean towards Poison Idea, Reek Minds head for Siege. Slappy high-fives to both of ’em, kisses upon all cheeks, front and back. I was wondering whether track six was an Indigesti cover. Turns out, on further inspection, that it is in fact a cover of a Legion Of Parasite’s song! Cor-blimey, I need to go and lie down.
