The first time on vinyl since its release in 1999 (originally released as A CD EP by Initial Records), Silent Majority, from Long Island, New York, hit the zeitgeist of the day square-on in the chops with a hard-edged post-hardcore assault. Not as mid-paced or self-reflective as the post-hardcore grooves of Shift and Quicksand, these guys instead pushed more forcefully, with a higher level of intensity, towards a mix of Chamberlain, Lifetime and Planes Mistaken For Stars. Five tracks on a one-sided 12″ with a silkscreened B-side.
