The sole full-length album released by the Austin, Texas noise punks, released by Rabid Cat in 1986. A wild, whirlwind journey through the dark, sociopathic, underbelly of America’s Southern culture. Fired-up on Birthday Party and taking tips (and/or drugs) from their Texan comrades The Butthole Surfers, Scratch Acid spread their wide-eyed, crazy-man filth in a glorious self-destructive fashion across America throughout the 1980s; obviously, eventually morphing into the Jesus Lizard, but members of the band also crossed-over for stints in the Big Boys, Ministry, Helios Creed, the Didjits, Lard and Steve Albini’s Rapeman. Finally repressed for the first time since its original appearance, Just Keep Eating has been remastered by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service from the original analog tapes.
