The debut album for this UK band from Halifax, and on an American label, impressive stuff. As too are the nine songs featured here: a crushing mix of UK hardcore from way to Rudimentary Peni, via Ripcord, Health Hazard, Urko, and, to bring it up to date, sharing stages at a venue near you with the likes of Zero Again, Rat Cage, Subdued and Rank. Featuring Scoot of Extinction Of Mankind/Doom etc. and his signature guitar tone, the perfect companion to these urgent songs and driving beats, topped by a desperate, super-angry vocal barrage. The fold out poster sleeve is very apt, and suits their style and intention perfectly.
