Innescando Un Putiferio/I Bought Myself A Coffin “Italian Hardcore Punk 1981 – 1989/Italian Punk Rock 1977 – 1981” – Book
By “Mucky” Papo
A book that follows the principle of the split album in that it is divided in two: A-side is Italian Hardcore 1981-1989; the B-side, under the subheading I Bought Myself A Coffin, covers Italian punk rock 1977-1981. Some of the hardcore chapters featured in Raising Hell fanzine, issues 30 to 34. No surprise, the main big hitters of Italian hardcore get an in-depth exploration: CCM, Wretched, Negazione, Indigesti and Raw Power. But featuring plenty more that are less known. “An indepth look at the bands their background and Italian society during that period which produced one of the most intense and exciting punk scenes around the world.”
