PUNTER – “Australienation” LP

Young, energetic, angry punk. This Melbourne trio follow-up their self-titled 12″ of 2023 with a full length album of dangerous, self-detonating punk rock. Hey, The Chats are good fun, and all that, but you could imagine them watching/listening to Punter and being humbled to humiliation. This recording, ten levels up the hierarchical chain, it unsympathetically smashes them to pieces. Feel sorry for them, I do. Best punk rock in 2025 anywhere on the planet? Yeah, probably. The sound of a band who are giving it their all – 100% – and then some more. This one will sustain you though the hardest of times. And 2025 has plenty of hard times. This album, just perfect.
