Psico Galera “Memorie Di Occhi Grigi” 12″
A new 12″/mini album from the Italian provocateurs. An 8-track onslaught of dissonant experimentation, unhinged and unpredictable guitar solos, pounding drums, and raw, uncompromising energy. RKL’s Rock’n’Roll Nightmare is cited as an influence, (which is truly fucking cool), as too are of early Voivod, late Negazione and Upset Noise. This is a band on an important mission, self expression backed by music that is suitably uncompromising, twisted and dark. I felt this way about Psico Galera’s earlier 12″ – Le Stanze Della Mente – that they are one of the most important and exciting Italian punk bands of recent decades.
