Poison Ruïn – Self-titled LP
A duo from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, self-described death rock/dungeon punk. A mash-up of dirty garage punk with hints of both 80s metal and lo-fi post-punk. Despite the blackened influences, and lyrics that describe a world of cosmic horrors and environmental disaster, none of it manages to disguise the fact that they were probably having a shitload of fun making these recordings. This 12″ consolidate their two EPs into one ten-song, self-titled album. The US pressing on Relapse (was initially released by Drunken Sailor Records in the UK).
