Peat Boggs – “…The Unknown” Tape Cassette
Five tracks that pick-up from where Consolation left off – sadly the Sheffield/Norwich band split up after the release of their Repulsive Reflections in 2023 and unfinished business has been wrapped-up here. Primarily executed by Boselvan owner/Consolation bassist, Mikee, who handles all the instrumentation; while a former member of Jackals (and now Deviated Instinct, too) handles the vocals. Consolation were great high-decibel, chain-punk band, and, really, this should have been their second EP, but this tape cassette does a more than adequate job of finishing things off, and I’m pretty certain Peat Boggs have become their own band in their own right. Certainly should be.
