A four-song 7″ EP from this San Francisco band (their fourth EP) who masterfully deliver on classic slacker rock influences while preserving clear roots in punk. The follow up to 2023’s Peace Loving People LP. Applying influences like The Dils, Archers of Loaf, Yo La Tengo and The Mice. Clean, loose guitars, and slightly off key singing flips into a wild ride of early Meat Puppets. One of those all too rare moments when American DIY-indie really shines. Convulse Records, such a cool label, is getting broader and broader in its area of coverage, diversity seems to be their strength, and their records are always worth investigating.
