A hardcore punk band from Los Angeles, featuring members of Black Mountain, Saviours, and Night Horse. This album came blasting out of 2014 and left a fair few jaws hanging loose in gobsmacked amazement, nothing to my knowledge has been heard of the band since then, becoming something of a tantalizing mystery… This album, produced by Chris Owens (Lords, Coliseum, Young Widows) at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in only three days and then mixed by Kurt Ballou at God City Studio, still stands as a devastating barrage of timeless hardcore fury, the opening song alone conjures up the best aspects of Born Against, Poison Idea and Jerry’s Kids, all within less than 2 minutes. Such a promising debut – the legacy survives even if the band didn’t.
