No Trend – “You Deserve Your Life” LP
Recorded in 1983 at Inner Ear Studio from the same session that gave the world the Teen Love 7”, these tracks have never been released on vinyl before (at least, not these versions). Also including two live songs. No Trend were a notorious noise-rock group who, as a reaction to their hometown scene of Washington DC, claimed to be anti-hardcore, but ironically, their sound is very similar to that found on the Faith/Void split LP on Dischord. This is essential for anyone into the lineage of outsider noise-rock, from Flipper to Killdozer to US Maple to Pissed Jeans etc.
