Four years after their last album, Darkness Evermore, comes Nightfell’s third. A dark, all-cusuming thunderstorm, recorded by Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer Studios (High On Fire, Asunder, Vastum, Ulthar) with additional instrumentation and vocals tracked by Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Melvins, etc). A due consisting of Todd Burdette of Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone, Warcry, etc., and Tim Call, known, amongst other blackened metal outfits, as the drummer of the excellent Howling Wind. Marking their most dense and dynamic recording yet, channeling the spirits of bands like Bolt Thrower, Amebix, Neurosis and Mayhem – to devastatingly dramatic effect.
