Nervous SS / Rat Cage- “Skopje VS Sheffield” Split LP
Nervous SS is a one man D-beat/kängpunk band from Skopje, Macedonia. A powerhouse of Totalitar influenced thrash that is aggressive, manic and super-tight. On the flip side of the disc Sheffields’ Rat Cage continue down a unique path of psychotic hardcore – hellishly fast, with a nerve-shredding vocal assault, like a very angry Nick Blinko on speed. Both bands are following up their recent debut LPs, and both bands include a cover, with Rat Cage doing a stupendously successful version of the U.K. Subs’ “Emotional Blackmail”.
