Nekra – “Royal Disruptor” 7″
The vinyl debut for London DIY punks. No fancy frills, no nonsense, just straight-forward, stripped-down, in-your-face, cavewoman hardcore punk. Alot of personality comes seething through. Reminds me of Pettybone (from a few years ago), a band that split-up way too soon – hopefully Nekra are here for the long run ‘cos this 5 track EP is dangerously bulging with the potential of great, explosive things to come. I like where they’re at and I like even more where I think they’re going to go.
