Minor Threat – Self-titled (First) 7″
A piece of musical history made available once again and, for the very first time since it’s original release in 1981, on its original 7″ vinyl format. The cut was initially created for the Dischord 7″ box set that came out at the end of 2022. Does this mean that this is a one off pressing? If it is, grab a copy while you can. Or… maybe it means that Dischord will keep this in press for ever more like they do with, say, the Salad Days 7″. Sorry, I don’t know. (Keep in mind that Minor Threat’s self-titled 12″ does contain the same tracks from this 7″, and it has been repeatedly kept in press). What I do know is that it’s great to finally own a second copy to replace the one I bought from Woolworths back in 1982, it’s so tatty and scratched now, I can finally throw it away.
