The legacy of Gulch continues in rude health, although these guys are adding their own individual bent to this tried and tested modern hardcore formula – evil metal overtones and beatdown heaviness especially – aided and abetted by some contributions from members of Speed, Prowl and Deadbody. Convulse Records is on a such an epic wave right now, banger after banger, just in the past few months we’ve had 12″s from MSPaint, Cell Rot, Big Laugh, Destiny Bond, Histamine, and now add Mask to that roll call. Ach, too much to keep up with!
