Despite forming several years ago this is the debut full-length from Massachusetts-based Maniac, who are, suprisingly, on California’s New Age Records, whereas their sound and location would point them more in the direction of the Armageddon label. Pounding hardcore punk that burns and scorches with a furious urgency. Something like Dropdead and 9 Shocks Terror meets early Converge and Integrity.
