Lame – “Lo Que Extrañas Ya No Existe” LP
A sophomore album to follow-up 2023’s Dejad Que Vengan, former members of Spain’s Orden Mundial and Barcelona drop off ten new tracks of pummelling hardcore punk. All the instrumentation is up front, manic and loud, as too are the the vocals. Described as part Chain Reaction, part the first D.I.R.T. EP, with hints of Midwest HC and Mediterranean Modern Punk. I would add, while listening to the rapid-fire, high spirited vocal delivery I found myself making a mental link to Amy Taylor of Amyl And The Sniffers (not in an obvious way. In a good way). Recorded Halfway between Studio Impala Uno in Mallorca and Ramon’s Bedroom in Berlin.
