Koyo – “Drives Out East” 7″
A Long Island-based band who double-up their hardcore grit with some hook-laden melodies and influences drawn from early millennium emo. Untypical of Triple B Records, (but not dissimilar to Anxious, who have also recorded an EP for that label), despite which, they’ve had no problems shifting all 1000 of the first press – I managed to grab a few from a supplier/distributor. Thus the higher price.
