Koma – “Internment Failure” LP
A debut twelve track album from a new noise-punk band from Leeds and London. Reinventing UK punk of the 1980s (I’m detecting a fair shair of Bristol circa ’82, especially the one-two, one-two beats) pushed further into the red towards the super-sonic sounds cherished and celebrated among the black clad denizens of Portland, Oregon. I think you can probably add a heavy dose of 80s Scandinavia to this equation, too. Not disimilar in some repects to the mighty Health Hazard. Blood vessals, no doubt, were burst, repeatedly.
