Youngsters from Southern California picking-up the legacy of the Heartattack era of emo-hardcore. The reversed brown-card sleeve tells you everything you need to know. Intense, passionate and screamy, just like an Ebullition/Council/Level Plane release circa ’97-2000. Formed in 2021 with a number of splits and EPs already under their belts, this debut full-length was recorded by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Joyce Manor, Touche Amore) and features a guest appearance from Jerome’s Dream frontman Jeff Smith. Bio blurb says: “…young musicians expressing themselves through some of the most explosively cathartic music imaginable”… and that’s about right. Peak era Yaphet Kotto recreated for 2026 , like screamo gone full-circle – the appeal, not surprisingly, endures.
