Description
Jug “Head” LP
From the freezing Prairie capital of Winnipeg Manitoba, middle Canada, eight more tracks of “undeniable fire and brimstone from the punk pulpit”. Jug are oddball hardcore punk of the chain variety. Anguished and conflicted. Bootlicker are an easy comparison (but with guitars that are more in line with traditional hardcore/maximum distortion), as too is early USHC (SSD/Gang Green). These are tortured souls at play – and I mean that in a good way. I suspect they are one of those bands that if you see them live, conversion is instantaneous and drives you to buy a t-shirt that you wear at every opportunity for the rest of that year and beyond.
