Judge – “New York Crew” 7″
A foundational record in the New York/straight-edge hardcore scene of the 1980s, paving the way for countless bands to follow in the decades ever since. As much as the term legendary is way overused, in the instance of Judge it might even be underused… The New York Crew was recorded at Don Fury Studios in 1987 (and Don Fury also qualifies as legendary), released in 1988 on Schism Records, and later reissued on Revelation Records in 1989. The debut 7″ EP featured the two-man lineup prior to becoming a full band, featuring Mike Judge on vocals and drums, and John Porcell on guitar and bass.
