Once upon a time in San Francisco 1994 – their third album was originally released on Tupelo and Communion Records, with the bulk of the recording done by Steve Albini. After the more progressive Bivouac LP of ’92, the trio returned to a straightforward, poppier sound – ever so slightly influenced by Nirvana maybe – and the resulting full-length is widely regarded as their best.
