The North Caroliner duo who manipulate found sound and sampled recordings, recycling them into their own exciting new compositions. Great fun because not only do you find yourself playing spot-the-sample (Flux Of Pink Indians, SSD, Rudimentary Peni, Poison Idea, Johny Rotten, Pussy Galore) but there is also some highly creative song-crafting going on here. ‘Experimental’ is a description you should approach with caution, often cold and difficult – whereas this is anything but. An inventive hardcore record, with clever lyrics and a punk as fuck attitude – symbolically, the front cover features Einstürzende Neubauten; the back cover features Beastie Boys’ Pollywog Stew.
