The post-metal/post-hardcore band’s final, 2009 release, remastered by James Plotkin, continuing the Ipecac Recordings series of Isis reissues. The album continues their legacy of lengthy songwriting, but with an increase in the post-rock, soft-loud dynamics; less of the sludgy, heavyweight angst that characterized previous releases.
