Description
Isis “In The Absence Of Truth” Double LP
The post-metal/post-hardcore band’s 2006 release, remastered by James Plotkin, continuing the Ipecac Recordings series of Isis reissues. The album expanded upon the previous full-length, Panopticon, with Aaron Turner adopting a cleaner style of vocal (as opposed to the former screaming and growling – although those technique are still present as well). Having recently rejuvenated a slightly lost and tired-out Neurosis, now is perhaps the right time to revisit Turner’s past creative endeavors. This album continued the Isis progression into epic grandeur, with lengthy songwriting and a title track that clocks-in at almost 65 minutes.
