The 2024 EP originally released on CD and cassette tape and made available a year later on vinyl by Daze Records. An unusual release for this label – but, I get it, if you heard the 2024 release you too would want to release it by any means necessary and regardless of your label’s typical output and back catalogue. Holder are that good. Modern screamo with an ear keenly concentrating on the past, while, crucially, maximising on the genre’s obligatory need for wild, overly-expressive, super-explosive glory. Five tracks of chaotic hardcore, in the same vein as Skycamefalling, Neil Perry, Yaphet Kotto, Transistor Transistor, Joshua Fit For Battle.
