Description
Hellscape – Self-titled 7″
An exciting weirdo punk release from London town. Fast, noise-driven hardcore punk provides the foundation. Constructed with the influence of classic gothic and anarcho punk. Ending-up something like Slimey Member meets Good Throb. Loosened and unrestrained in such a way that different styles and tempos are freely dipped into, making sure there is both originality and uniqueness in nutritional amounts. It’s a good’un. The old school vibes – filtered through modern invention – are reminiscent of all sorts of anarcho wholesomeness: Icons Of Filth, Exit-stance and, yes, brace yourselves, Rudimentary Peni, too. A really solid six track debut EP from a new band that we all definitely need keep an eye on (and an ear) from now on.
