Go! – “Impact” LP
The New York hardcore band that came out of the early 90’s scene that centered around ABC No Rio, along with Born Against, Citizen’s Arrest, Rorschach, and SFA. Their 7″ EPs were a furious blast positive/protest hardcore. Neither crust punk or youth crew, Go! were just straight ahead, super-fast, super-catchy and serious minded: pro LGBTQ, eco-environmental awareness, feminism, anti-violence/racism etc. Reuniting in 2006, they recorded a new 7” that year, and another the following year – Reactive and then What We Build Together – and this new compilation LP collects both those 7”s on side A, and on the reverse side features a 2006 live show recorded on WFMU, produced by Pat Duncan and Charles Maggio of Rorschach.
