The hooded ones – Cremator, Digestor, Dissector, and Fermentor – with their fifth album, that was released in 2016. Ghoul, from Oakland, California, play thrashy death metal, like a grindier version of Municipal Waste/Power Trip, combined with an over-the-top theatricality that brings to mind Gwar – the same flippant show-offy attitude, that, dig a little deeper, reveals some pretty tight-and-tasty musicianship.
