Philadelphia (USA) stalwarts Fixation had a couple of 7″s knocking around a few years ago – competent slabs of tight, raging hardcore… but I guess they failed to leave a deep impression (I would struggle to recall one of their tunes), whereas this full-length album steps things up by delivering a highly satisfying whack to the ol’ lug’oles that was not expected at all. Fast and furious (the entire franchise in one hit) from start to finish, embellished with some tasty surprises. With an impressive line-up that features members of Chemical Fix, Wild Red, and Drowse. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by the band’s own Wyatt Oberholzer.
