Description
Dynamite “Settle The Score” 7″
London based late-80s inspired hardcore, this 5 track EP follows-up the Blow the Bloody Doors Off EP that was released by Quality Control and Northern Unrest in 2024. A quote about these guys that I read somewhere online said something like, at last a UK Hardcore band that sounds Hardcore, instead of wannabe tough guy metal. It’s the kind of strong opinion I try to avoid when I write-up these descriptions, but, yeah, I’m inclined to agree with that sentiment. Powerful, fighting-fit, heavy hardcore (but not Heavy-Hardcore) that is heavily indebted to SSD (but via 1990s/2000’s Boston – Ten Yard Fight, Have Heart etc.). Plenty of band membership connections going on here, High Vis being one of them.
