Disrupt “Unrest” LP
Sounding like late 80s UK punks heavily under the influence of Scandinavia, but actually Disrupt where of Boston, Massachusetts origin, and this, their one and only full-length album (released by Relapse in 1994), established them as one of the key players in the 90’s crust-punk scene. Like a bratty, younger-brother-band to Extreme Noise Terror (with whom they were meant to share a split EP – that never materialised), with other obvious stylistic nods in the direction of Doom, Mob 47, Crude SS – one of the least American sounding hardcore punk bands of America from that period of time.
