Death Threat “For God & Government” LP
The third album by the hardcore band from Connecticut, USA, it was originally released in 2002 by Triple Crown Records. A long-awaited reissue (pressed onto vinyl for the first time) that has been upgraded to a deluxe edition – remastered audio (by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege), re-housed in a gatefold sleeve, and expanded with five bonus tracks. Not to be confused with Deathreat – the Tragedy/From Ashes Rise spin off from a few years earlier (that, funnily enough, featured Brad Boatright) – Death Threat were comparatively punchier, with a more metallic edge, along the lines of Agnostic Front, Sick Of It All and Floorpunch; although, sometimes Death Threat merely went for full-on, adrenalin-fueled thrash-outs, with punked-up anger to the max.
