An album that needs very little in the way of introduction now, but there were a few decades where this masterpiece languished in complete obscurity, eventually capturing the world’s attention when the Politicians In My Eyes 7″ (from 1976) started going for hundreds of $s online. Uncompromising and uncommercial early 70’s hard rock that was influenced by The Who, Alice Cooper and MC5, and that blazed hard and fast – so much so that, when combined with the socially conscious lyrics, what you end-up with here is perhaps the first hardcore punk recording ever made. Not bad for three (african-american) brothers from Detroit that broke up in 1977.
