D.O.A. – “D.O.A. War On 45” LP
The reissue of this 1982 mini-album in its original format, just like the Alternative Tentacles original. Coming on the heels of Something Better Change and Hardcore 81, this eight-track 12″ EP is kind of like the third D.O.A. album. It was certainly a major break though record for the band, thanks in part to the hard-rock overtones to their punk rock anthems, plus an audacious cover version of Ranking Trevor’s reggae song, “War in the East”. Also featuring blazing covers of The Dils, (“Class War”) and Edwins Starr’s “War”.
