Description
Charger – self-titled LP
Full-on 70’s hard rock from an East Bay trio who feature the bass-playing talents of Matt Freeman (who has done more than a fair share of Rancid records over the years, not forgetting Op Ivy, too, of course), and also backed by the drumming skills of Jason Willer of Cross Stitched Eyes and (the underrated) Drain The Sky. The beats are Motorhead, all the way. Guitars are betwixt AC/DC, Sabbath and High On Fire. While the vocals are weirdly reminiscent of RKL. Needless to say, it does exactly what the name (and artwork) implies.
