The debut LP from central Pennsylvania/Maine’s bass and drum hardcore trio. A blizzard of twenty two tracks, drenched in samples, caustic noise, and a power-violent work ethos. Including a Plutocracy track for good measure. Reminds me at times of MITB/Crossed Out, and also that first album by O.L.D. from back in the late ’80s… You know, this power-violence gig really has been knocking around for a long time now, and rather than recycling tired, old ideas, Collapsed Skull not only make it their own distinct variation of PV, but they also make it sound fresh and revived. For anyone who once hoovered-up Slap A Ham 7″s and is now curious to find out how things have evolved, I would recommend this as a very good place to start…
