To Live A Lie Records are savvy enough to recognise an overlooked gem from times past whose time has come for a well-deserved repress, and so it is with the late 90s album by this North Carolina hardcore outfit. A merging of peak era emo intensity and metallic hardcore chugginess – taking someone like Threadbare alongside early-years Converge, while adding a little Glassjaw polish; keeping it closer to raw, first wave screamo, rather than the technical alt rock they would later become (with a Mars Volta-esque album on Equal Vison still several years away). Fully remixed from the original files and on vinyl for the first time since the original CD version as released by The Music Cartel in 1999.
