Christ On Parade – “Sounds Of Nature” CD
Formed in 1985 by ex-members of Teenage Warning and Treason, mid-’80s East Bay peace punk/hardcore that perfectly embodied the scene’s youthful energy, anger and spirit. Originally released on Pushead’s label, “Their debut album, Sounds of Nature, serves as a snapshot of a time when mothers with baby buggies would cross the street when they saw punks coming their way.” This CD features the Sounds Of Nature 12″ (from 1985) on one side; the flip-side has tracks from Thrasher magazine’s Skaterock, Vol.3 Compilation, the original unreleased version of the Isn’t Life A Dream 7″ and an unreleased Avengers cover.
