French black metalers return with their first full-length album. A duo who specialise in a traditional take on classic black metal, but executed to a much higher standard than this implies. Featuring trademark atmospheric interludes, blast beats, and melodic guitar crescendos (almost to the extent of becoming melodic death metal) along with a transendental spiritual vibe that seems to be Cénotaphe’s big thing (hey, I can do spiritual, too: whiskey, brandy, vodka…).
