Description
Bolt Thrower “In Battle There Is No Law!” LP
The debut album by the now infamous death metal band of Coventry, although back then at the time of it’s release In 1988 (by Vinyl Solution Records) few outside of John Peel’s late night listenership knew anything about them. This album showcased their progression into blastbeat-driven, grinding heaviness from a foundation of mid-to-late 80s metal-anarcho-punk crossover that was laid down by Sacrilege’s Behind The Realms Of Madness, and to a slightly lesser extent Napalm Death, Deviated Instinct, Civilised Society?, Hellbastard, too. New, 2026 limited pressing by german label, Darkness Shall Rise Productions. Includes a reprint of the original Vinyl Solution mail-order insert, which is a nice touch.
