Bikini Mutants “Let’s Mutate” LP
Finally, after forty-plus years, the Yeovil post punk band have a vinyl release! Very much part of the Somerset anarcho punk scene that centered around The Mob and All The Madmen in the early 1980s, they were heavily tied to the small, but creative, local alternative musical legacy – with one member later resurfacing in indie pop band The Chesterfields; while bassist Debbie Googe went on to play in my Bloody Valentine. During their short existence the Bikini Mutants recorded two demos in 1982 which this discography LP collects together, along with a 20 page 12″ booklet featuring photos, lyrics, reviews, interviews and much more.
