The 2014 album from Vancouver’s Baptists (the second of three full-lengths). An exhilarating rush of rhythm-lead fury and innovative guitar dissonance, pretty typical of the bands that were coming out on Southern Lord at this point in time: Nails, Sarabante, Black Breath, Trap Them, Martyrdöd etc. And of course, being on this label of high repute, it looks and sounds f-a-b (production courtesy of Kurt Ballou).
