L7 – self-titled LP
The LA punk band that formed back in 1985, way ahead of grunge, this was their debut album and the only recording to feature Roy Koutsk on drums. Recorded by Brett Gurewitz in Hollywood, and released on his label in 1988. Previous to this album, guitarist, vocalist, and co-founder, Suzi Gardner, provided guest vocals on Black Flag’s “Slip It In” – I didn’t know that, until now.
