Bad Brains – self-titled Tape Cassette
The holy grail of American hardcore punk, originally released back in 1982 as a cassette-only release on ROIR (Reachout International Records). After being banned from all the major clubs in their hometown of Washington DC, Bad Brains moved to New York City in 1981 and played gigs in the Alphabet City’s 171-A Studios where they ultimately ended-up recording this album. Re-released by the band all these decades later, and available again on its true, original, tape cassette format.
